RUBIO MONOCOAT Accelerator is the clear Component B that comes with RUBIO MONOCOAT Oil Plus 2C. When mixed with the oil it speeds up the full curing of the oil from 3-4 weeks to 7-10 days. This is extremely helpful when doing many projects in our modern paced lives.  

Although these oils will cure if not mixed with the Accelerator, we highly recommend it when doing floors, bench tops, and decks, because these are the surfaces most likely to get water spills and scuffing during the cure period - thus compromising the hardness of the final finish. 

The two Components A + B are sold together as a set in the RUBIO MONOCOAT Oil Plus 2C. However you may need to purchase additional Component B Accelerator at a later date if your accelerator has hardened in the tin over time. You may also need to purchase some to mix with the RUBIO MONOCOAT Hybrid Wood Protector. 

Caution: the Accelerator does contain a very minute amount of a toxic chemical, so care should be taken when handling and disposing of the product. See SDS below for further details.

Directions: Mix Component A + B in the ratio 3:1 for Oil Plus 2C, or ratio of 10:1 for Hybrid Wood Protector.
