RUBIO MONOCOAT Exterior Wood Cleaner is a preparatory cleaner for new and old wood prior to treating with RUBIO MONOCOAT Hybrid Wood protector.

Used for: removing the tannins and oils in new timber, and removing grey discolouration, dirt and residue from previous finishes on old timber. This cleaning allows maximum penetration of RUBIO MONOCOAT Hybrid wood Protector or other exterior finishes and results in a longer lasting and superior finish. 
Directions: Dampen the surface with water, then apply the product and scrub with a stiff bristled brush. For light cleaning on new wood, the product can be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:2. Scrubbing on large decks can be done with a scrubbing pad under a buffer. For stubborn stains, repeat the treatment. Rinse thoroughly with water until all of the foam has been washed away. Allow the surface to dry completely before treating with RUBIO MONOCOAT Hybrid Wood Protector or other exterior finishes.

Caution: this product is a strong reactive cleaner. Gloves and personal protection should be worn when using it and although not considered toxic in the environment care should be taken to avoid concentrated release in the environment.
