APPLICATION
- You’ll need a minimum 90L compressor with a pressure of 60 to 70psi, a spray gun with a 6 to 8mm nozzle, a bucket, and a mixing paddle.
- Remove any parts, seals, and glue to create a clean canvas. Clean the surface you want to spray and apply adhesive tape to protect any areas you don’t want to cover with Corkon.
- Grab your bucket and pour in one unit of Corkon. Add one unit of water and mix thoroughly until the mixture is homogeneous.
- Make sure you spray in a well-ventilated area to help with the drying process.
- Start with a thin adhesive layer. Let it dry for 6 to 12 hours (depending on the environment and relative humidity).
- Follow with a filling layer. Let it dry for 12 to 24 hours (depending on the environment and relative humidity).
- Depending on your project or desired usage, you can spray a third and/or fourth layer.
If you want to take your Corkon to the next level, here’s a tip: gently sand it with 120/240 grit sandpaper for a smoother and softer finish.
