RUBIO MONOCOAT Invisible Protection is a New! product. Developed in response to many requests for an invisible hard-wearing coating. When you love the timber exactly how it is but want an eco friendly protective finish on it! 

Suitable: Suitable for timber floors, bench tops, tables, furniture and toys. Interior only. Not suitable over Rubio Monocoat Tannin Primer, WoodPrep, Smoke, Fumed and Monocoat Precolor Easy. Can be used over Rubio Monocoat Pre-Aging. 
Appearance: is an invisible look on light and dark coloured timbers. 
Odour: mild
VOC: < 2 %
Durability: Excellent wear and UV resistance (non- yellowing), but needs to be maintained according to instructions. 
Preparation: sand the floor to 120 grit with no swirl marks. Thoroughly remove sanding dust with a vacuum, then apply Invisible Protector immediately to avoid any oxidation.
Application: Apply with a short nap roller. The first coat can be diluted with 10% water for very absorbent timbers.
Allow to dry and apply second coat undiluted with a roller.
Allow to dry 16 - 24hrs, lightly sand with 220/240grit then apply third coat with roller.
Drying: 3-4 hours between first and second coats, 16 - 24hrs (overnight) before third coat. Allow 16 - 24hrs after third coat to dry. 
Coverage: covers 10 - 12sqM /L.
Coats:  3 coats recommended on floors and bench tops. 2 - 3 coats on furniture.
