LIVOS Taketi Paint Stripper is made from natural ingredients and safe to use for stripping old paints and varnishes from various surfaces. Containing caustic soda, this highly alkaline, ready to use paint stripper can be used on both synthetic and natural resin varnish as well as most conventional, alkali-sensitive paints.

Suitable: for stripping saponifiable (alkali-sensitive) paint and varnish from timber or metal
Application: Stir well before use. Apply liberally with alkali-resistant brush (one without natural bristles). Spray with water to wet and leave for 2-10 minutes on wood and 30 minutes on metal. Remove softened paint/varnish with a putty knife. Neutralise the stripped and scraped surfaces well with water or weakened citric acid
Drying: Do not allow the paint stripper to dry out during the process
Coverage: is approximately 1K/8m2
Coats: Depending on thickness of paint to strip. If the previous coating is very thick, reapplication may be required.
