Metal Primer (red)

MUROBOND Metal Primer is a water based anti corrosive primer with red iron oxide and flash rust inhibiters suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Suitable: for interior and moderate exterior use on iron, steel , galvanised iron, aluminium, zincalume and copper. Resistant to prolonged rain and condensation, but designed to be over-coated for protection in full weather exposure.

Appearance: is a matt ferric red colour.

Odour: is mild.

VOC: is medium. About 49 gms /L

Durability: is good but designed to be over-coated.

Application: is by roller, brush or spray gun as for conventional paint.

Drying: is 2 hours before recoating .

Coverage: is 8 -10 sq.m /L depending on the porosity of the surface.

Coats: one for interior use. Two coats for exterior use
