MUROBOND Mineral Silicate Clear is a clear matt coating which chemically combines with masonry substrates, strengthening it and giving excellent UV, weather, and chemical resistance with minimal change to appearance and maintaining vapour permeability.

It is a potassium silicate emulsion which has similar properties to water glass (a sodium silicate emulsion) but less likely to show white bloom on drying.  MUROBOND Mineral Silicate Paint is a pigmented version of this product. 

Suitable: for bare cement render, concrete, bricks or stone, lime renders and hempcrete. It is UV stable and resistant to weathering. 
Appearance: milky white thin liquid. Matt finish
Odour: low
VOC: less than 1g/litre
Colours: clear 
Durability: extremely long lasting due to the silicate forming a very hard bond to the masonry.
Vapour Permeability: twice the vapour permeability of acrylic paints
Priming: not generally necessary.
Application: apply with brush, or spray in a full even film. Apply in dry conditions above 10 degrees C and below 35 degrees C.
NOTE: Mineral Silicate Clear will react and chemically combine with mineral surfaces including glass. Ensure thorough masking of such surfaces and clean up spills/overspray immediately,
