Born in Italy, Limewash creates a rich, velvety texture with a beautifully mottled finish, exuding timeless romance. Murobond’s cleverly updated limewash takes the very best of centuries old traditions and adds a dash of modern technology to create an elegant finish.

Cement Grey is a reflection of the timeless strength and industrial charm of off-form concrete, embodying a modern yet grounded aesthetic.

Suitable: for interior and exterior gyprock or masonry walls. Ideal for broad wall areas to soften the mood, or for feature walls in rich colours.
Appearance: is a matt velvet texture with a slightly mottled patina reminiscent of old limewash. It develops more character as it ages, particularly when exposed to exterior conditions. It can enhance both modern and old decors.
Colours: Note online colours may vary on different screens. 1L size can be purchased to test colours in your setting. (smaller sample pots are not accurate in this product)
VOC: is 40gms/L
Durability: is medium. Being a flat finish it is not as washable as a low sheen paint. It can be over-coated with Murobond Clear Acrylic Sealer in areas that need to be cleaned regularly.
Vapour Permeability: very good vapour permeability
Priming: with Murobond Primer is necessary for all surfaces. Other paints may be sensitive to the alkaline nature of Limewash so a coat of Murobond Primer is a must. Bare gyprock may require two coats of Murobond primer. The primer should be coloured towards the Limewash colour.
Application: is with a large Murobond brush in a random pattern. This creates the tonal movement and quality of the finish. Maintain a wet edge as you are working. Apply in dry conditions above 10 degrees C and below 30 degrees C.
Decorative: yes. Use for feature walls and decorative effect.
Drying: is overnight between coats.
